The BJP Government of Gujarat during its rule specifically in the last eleven years has projected before the people of Gujarat nothing but false claims regarding development in the state and have given false figures showing such development. The true facts show that development in the real sense has not taken place and whatever development is being shown was already done in the last several decades in Gujarat. The BJP Government has completely ignored the social development in the state and as per many reports and studies conducted by National Surveys and United Nations, Gujarat has lagged on social indicators such as health, nutrition, women and child health care and law and order situation.
