Sanjay

We all see the little girls and boys in every traffic signals and outside railway stations. If all of us individually can bring about a difference in their lives in a positive way, that will be the best way to serve our motherland. Swami Vivekananda has shown us the way.

Hope the power of your written words are read and heard in the right place. The 'Flower Girl' is waiting for Rahul to bring about that change.

Dear Sanjay,

A very good piece of literature and observing talent. Did it ever occur to you that that those brats should have been in schools, rather than on the roads selling flowers at the junctions? Thank God at least they were not begging is often noticed in all metros! When the Congress that you support so strongly, has ruled for over 55 years after independence, why go we still find such scenes? Perhaps this is a right opportunity for you to contact Rahul and rehabilitate those children for schooling and both of you besides getting a good publicity, like in the case of Kalavathi of Vidharbha, you would be doing a great service to these brats. But take care to see that no harm comes to them in any form.

It is indeed enriching to interact with those little 'brats' at the intersections but I do wonder where those flowers come from. I have heard they are the remians of people's loving tribute to their departed ones. Still, t would be wonderful if the little girls can have their own rose gardens. Believe me, it would be more than a great achievement if she could just reach adulthood without being traumatised and hardened, losing all her innate sensitivity and lovingness. The first protection she needs is from her own family.

With the recent hard work at the grass root, during the elections by young Rahul Gandhi there seems to be hope coming nearer. He needs to see that the beaurocratic and political machinery, which are the hall mark of corruption needs to be straightened out.The people at the top need to be examplary to the rest of the public. To see India prosper and shining the greed of the babus need to be curbed. Over the last 62 years after independence, politics and beaurocracy have become a business to fill their own coffers.Nobody thinks about the country. Why can't we have roads, clean drinking water, literacy, health for all, cleanliness, healthy environment for the people of India. Our election menifestos are only till the election and after that the winners start filling their own pockets.Rahul Gandhi comes from a family who has seen so much money in their many generation and does not require more. He seems earnest in uplifting the common man Mr Manmohan Singh and Mrs Sonia Gandhi along with Rahul Gandhi can do wonders for this country, so that the poor flower gils and many others like her enjoy a good status and be proud to be born in a human life of dignity.
